Cross Country - Co-Ed
I can’t believe it.....It has never happened before. All Pembroke Academy runners achieved a personal record at Saturday’s Kennet invitational in Conway. Leading off the PA girls squad was junior Abbey Duchesne with a time of 22:38 and leading off the boys was junior Ben Dugas with a time of 17:53. Their hard work this season is really paying off.
Please come by the track at 4:00 tomorrow (Tuesday) and watch your PA runners compete against 3 other schools during our home meet/ senior night.
Girls Soccer - Varsity
Pembroke 6 Oyster River 1
Girls varsity soccer handed oyster river their second loss of the season at their annual pink out game. Hannah Picott scored the first of her two goals 8 min Into the match on a Kyla chase lofted ball. Ryley chase would net a cross from Adrienne Dorr to finish the first 40. The Spartans went into half with a 2-1 lead but then exploded for four more tallies in the second half with goals from Adrienne Dorr, Kyla Chase, Picott and a PK fromBritney Hill. Bailey gatchell and Picott assisted in those efforts. The stingy defense of Mackenzie Hawkins, grace Simmons, Jaylin Ladd and cierra hill thwarted any oyster river advances. With this win, the varsity team remains perfect on the season at 9-0 and tied for first place in the division.
